VD Home is designed around the idea of “આરામ” — a sense of leisure, ease, and unhurried living rooted in homes across Gujarat. Rather than prioritising storage-heavy planning, the home focuses on openness, comfort, and everyday rituals of living.

The interiors maximise vertical volume by avoiding conventional false ceilings, drawing inspiration instead from the layered richness of traditional palatial ceilings. Crafted wooden bands frame the spaces, creating depth while preserving height.

A warm palette of wood, soft stone textures, and woven cane grounds the interiors in familiarity. Sheer curtains, filtered daylight, and carefully placed furniture enhance the feeling of lightness and calm.

Furniture is treated as objects within space rather than built-in mass, encouraging flexibility, playfulness, and relaxed living.
