The LP hardware showroom

The LP Hardware Showroom reimagines how products are experienced within a retail environment. Developed within an existing shell, the project transforms LP’s own catalogue into the medium of the space, allowing products to be encountered not as isolated samples but as integral parts of the environment.

Doors, partitions, shelving systems, profiles, and connectors are woven into the spatial framework, dissolving the boundary between display and application. Visitors engage with products in context, understanding their material qualities, functionality, and potential through direct experience.

Light forms the foundation of this approach. A luminous ceiling provides a consistent quality of illumination throughout the day and night, ensuring finishes, textures, and colours are perceived accurately and without distraction.

Guided by clarity and restraint, the showroom shifts attention away from display as spectacle and towards experience as understanding. The result is an inhabitable catalogue where products, space, and perception come together as a single, cohesive experience.
